JULY: FAN OF THE MONTH

This is Max's story.  Max dealt with Diabetes for 6 years.  His mom has been buying our cookies for Max since the beginning.  Max gets 2 shots a day.  His mom says that life changed for Max and her when he was diagnosed...but she did not mind as Max was her baby.  3 years ago Max spent 3 weeks in the hospital due to pancreatitis and over a year ago was diagnosed with Addison's disease.  Max continued on and Eva continued to love and care for Max, and give him Old Dog (diabetic) Cookies during all of it.  Max would get an Old Dog (diabetic) Cookie after shots and walks and Eva told us he loved them.  For years we have enjoyed fulling Max's orders.

In July we posted this new website and held a place open in our Fan section for Max and his story.  Sadly Max passed in August.  He was 14.  Eva and Max have been such faithful customers I asked if we could still post his story.  She said yes.  Their story is one of perseverance and love.  Max was a special pup that continued on despite life's struggles and Eva continued to love Max unconditionally.  We thank both for their many, many years of business and support.  As we remind ourselves often, "don't cry because it's over...smile because it happened".  We will miss Max and Eva but we are happy for our time with them and providing Max a little bit of happiness each day with his diabetes.
