October: Fan of the month

Deuce is not diabetic, but thankfully his owner has a friend who knew of our company.  Sunny (Deuce's owner) called us recently to ask us about our Arthritis Relief cookies.  Sunny and I spoke for a while and we provided him with a lot of information on our Arthritis Relief cookies, which he decided to try for Deuce.  A few weeks later I received a call from Sunny, just a call to say, "thanks".  Thanks for the information we had provided, thanks for taking the time to talk, and thanks for making Deuce feel better!

We know the struggle is real on the diabetic side and we often highlight those stories, but caring for a dog with real joint pain is also challenging.  Deuce has a titanium knee.  He's 10 years old and seeing your once playful pup slow down is hard and often sad.  We know!!!  The "Old Dogs" in our company have had multiple knee surgeries, shoulder surgery and moving around is hard.  So when Sunny called to say, "after a couple of days on your Arthritis Relief cookies I noticed Deuce had more energy and was more playful and did not struggle as much to get up and is just all around a happier dog" it made our hearts happy!  We love all our furry friends but Deuce stole our hears this month!

We always say we have the best customers!  To the friend/customer who told Sunny about us...thank you!  To Sunny who paid it forward by just picking up the phone to say thanks....you are truly welcome!

Meet O.D. Named for the Police Officer (Officer Davis) who was able to catch this stray and get him off the streets, so he could then be adopted.  O.D's diabetic journey began 4 years ago and so did his love for Old Dog Diabetic treats.  O.D. has an amazing veterinarian team and does Libre Sensor monitoring every 6 months.  O.D's mom told us his vet team "is pleased with his insulin numbers and he's as healthy as a diabetic dog can be!"
